Run by some of the region’s most accomplished musicians, including Andrew Gurruwiwi and key members from the Wild Honey Band, our facilitators run tailor made workshops for school students across Northeast Arnhem Land. Yolŋu Radio has a long history of championing Northeast Arnhem artists, and these workshops help foster the next generation of Yolŋu creatives.

These workshops help teach Yolŋu kids the fundamentals of music & songwriting. Fundamentally grounded in Yolŋu knowledge, these workshops help promote young people’s connection to home, language & self-identity through song. These workshops are designed to engage with students by fostering a safe environment for creativity and fun to thrive.
